OOOOPSS! My most frustrating thing with the kids is they said DaDa long before Momma - I think it's because I talked to them about Daddy being at work & Daddy's home "here go see Daddy" and he talked to me about "Take them now..they stink" or whatever but he addressed me where I addressed the kids and called him by name.OMHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09316600458810320044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13638626.post-95768639743457282007-10-10T20:11:00.000-05:002007-10-10T20:11:00.000-05:00I am sure Ma Ma will be soon to follow!I am sure Ma Ma will be soon to follow!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13638626.post-45741380545108889782007-10-10T19:52:00.000-05:002007-10-10T19:52:00.000-05:00My oldest son's first word was the name of our cat...My oldest son's first word was the name of our cat. My middle son's was "ball" Mama and dada came later. Ouch! :)

The one redeeming factor - my kids learned "dada" for the grins but said "mama" when they really needed someone.Lynannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02416883491055528952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13638626.post-46561034705043893682007-10-10T13:01:00.000-05:002007-10-10T13:01:00.000-05:00Many of the families I know had uh-oh as a first w...Many of the families I know had uh-oh as a first word. The fact that it is at 9 months is great. We didn't get mama or dada until our son had been talking for months. Also, some kids do focus on improving one set of skills and the others are a little behind. Sounds like life is going to get even a little bit more interesting at your house:)lonnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03727748724600871714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13638626.post-81743239016057774102007-10-10T11:59:00.000-05:002007-10-10T11:59:00.000-05:00Gotta agree..... He was over a year old before he really started talking. But it sure is fun trying to get them to say what you want huh???Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13638626.post-57049503991784101972007-10-10T11:38:00.000-05:002007-10-10T11:38:00.000-05:00Kids do things in there own time.
