Its a virus caused by Coxsakie A virus, commonly passed around daycares that causes vesicles in the hands, feet, & mouth, hense it's name. Nothing you can do to prevent it, nothing to treat it but time and symptomatic relief. Those vesicles in his mouth can really hurt him. No wonder he was saying ouchie so much yesturday when eating.

Oh no. That's one of the worst things they can get. It's supposed to be so painful. I hope you guys don't get it and that your little guy is able to get over it quickly and with little or no pain.

Welcome to having your child in a daycare center... ahh the joys of being a working mommy.. is there nothing that can't make us feel guilty?
You're going through what tons of other mommy's go through don't stress.

My kids had hand foot an mouth, a couple of times and I got it too! It was fun and tingly! I am so sorry, it sounds like my schedule every year too...good news you get to catch up on the soaps, right.
