It has been five months since Jake went away and five months that he has been sober. (Technically he left on the 20th of March but he obviously wasn't sober that day so I count from the 21st.)

Congrats to Jake on 5 months!! I read your other "things I love" blog and I got to thinking,What do have I always loved about HER?? I love that she has a tender heart and she wears it on her sleeve.She is the emotion part for us.I tend to be the the cool,rational nonemotional rock of the storm of our relationship.She keeps me laughing and her smile always warms my heart.I love the way she challenges me to try something new,even if I am not so sure I can do it.She pulls me up out of the WEEDS when I am blue and we always COMMUNICATE our most intimate or persnicty thots to each other.Yes we shall become 2 women in comfortable shoes(WE ARE SO THERE!!)SHE is my heart beat and soul and I would not trade her for NOTHING!!!!!!!!!
I know it hasn't been easy, but anything worth while is worth working for. I am so proud of Jake for reaching this milestone. And Heather, congratulations to you too. I am in awe of your courage and strength to work through this.
