Failing to age...

Today is my 28th birthday. As is customary in female culture today is the day in which I stop aging. For the rest of my life whenever anyone asks me how old I am I will forever be 28. So you better remember this year so you can do the math yourself!! :-)

Actually, this custom has got me wondering? Why do so many women hate their age? It is what it is right? Even if you lie about it you are still the age you are so why not just be proud of it? (Of course I might feel differently in a few years...)

Cute Zack Moment:

He is eating a sandwich and the bottom part falls off.

"Oh No..."

I could just eat him up... In daycare they call him the entertainment. :-)

DEBATE: I think your age stops at 29. Isn't that the infamous age that everyone uses, not 28.

Weigh In!

In the meantime...Happiest of Birthday's!

Happy Birthday, dude. I don't hate my age--I'll be 28 in July. I'm just proud that I've made it this far. Seriously.

Happy birthday! I think Jess is right, I think the age at which you stop "aging" is 29... at least that's what my mom used to say for years until I pointed out to her one year, "you know mom, if you tell people you're 29 when you're really 40, they will think you look terrible for your age. You should tell them you're 50."

I am also 28 and don't really like my age, I feel like I'm aging too fast because I am not keeping up with where I should be at in my life by age 28. But meh. It doesn't really matter in the end, it's just a number.

I think it is 29 also, i hear "29 and holding" alot. Plus, I also tell everyone I only have one more birthday and then I'm done. I'm 28 and having a very hard time with my age. Maybe its because my husband is 2 1/2 years younger than me, I dont know. Anyways, Happy Birthday.

Happy birthday! FWIW, I'm 30 and I'm fine with it...most of the time. So far, I haven't lied about my age to anyone. Maybe in a few years.

Happy Birthday! I'll be celebrating my 3rd Annual 39th this summer. While I'm not particularly embarrassed by my age, I'm celebrating a day, not a year.

I can't believe I totally missed your birthday. I am sooooo embarassed. Sorry! I won't even tell you how old I am but I will say one thing, the older I get, the better life gets.
