Mamma's got a new do...

Well, I chopped all my hair off last night. Well, to clarify it wasn't ALL of my hair... just a few inches. The lady that does my hair told me that I had "mom" hair and that I needed a change. So, she recommended a few highlights and a shorter do. Something that I could just wash and wear. Oh yes... wash and wear is GREAT!!

I forgot to take before pictures but I have a few pictures of my hair from when someone would take a picture of Zack and I would be holding him. It should be enough to give you the gist of what we were working with.

So that was the before and here is the after...
She put some highlights in which I have never done before and then obviously... there's the length thing.
I tried to re-create it this morning... but I think it was a little too puffy. Or maybe that was just my eyes. It was 6:00 after all...
Some people have commented on it and some people have ignored it all together. Since it is a VERY large change and one of the girls who has not said anything KNEW I was going to get my hair cut yesterday I suspect that some people are practicing their etiquette techniques. (Or in the eloquent words of Miss Jessica they think I look like I got broadsided by Edward Sissorhands.)

Normally this would make me all self conscious. But.. it's only hair. It will grow back. If you don't like it say hey, you know it might look better this way. I may listen and I may not but I won't be offended. Personally it's new, it's different and hey... it's wash and wear!!

I think it's cute...You went from a mommy do to a school teacher do...or maybe I was broadsided by the top button of your shirt being buttoned. LOL-
It is definately noticeable!

HAHAHAHAHA-- Jess you make me laugh.. yes, heather undo the top button on your shirt-- it will make your hair look mush less teacher this morning. I like it though... it is much easier for you too I am sure! Though- I think that she should have done the stacked look in the back vs. the bob all around... ;)

Wow, you are doing your hair now. Now if we can only get you to do your make-up now, you may actually be becoming a girl. I found this new makeup that is absolutely amazing. Bare Minerals is the best, I will have to let you try it when I come home. Expensive as hell but perfect for our type of skin. It keeps your face completely dry and you really don't feel like you have foundation on at all. It does cost $25 per container but I can't live without it now. I will never go back to liquid foundation ever.

Hey sis are you doing a comment or an infomercial? Glad to see that you are ok with the hair since it won't grow all the way back before the wedding even if I try!!

After reading what I wrote, it does sound like an infomercial.

I like the new do!!!

I also wanted to give you this: http://www.ringling.com/offers/baby.aspx

It's a free offer for a free ticket for Zack to see the circus when he is a little older to appreciate it - as I can see there are no strings so I signed Avi up -- just figured you'd want it too!

I love the hair! It looks great did Jake say anything when he saw it?

BTW Sis' infomercial was funny my DIL loves the Bare Ess. stuff I haven't tried it myself but it cracked me up that she jumped right in there with the suggestion such a SISTER thing to do.

Heather that hair style is adorable on you. You look so thin and together, and perfectly mommy like. Nothing else you should be. I'd be so disturbed if you wore torn fishnets, had pink hair and installed a pole in your living room for dancing practice. I think you are beautiful. So there. Pffffffft.

CUTE! I think you look younger, fresh, and adorable! I agree with the "unbutton your top button", though. I admire how you are coping with everything that has happened. Keep it up, pretty lady!
